I study second year in Haaga Helia University of Applied Sciences, and am specialized in Hospitality, Tourism and Experience management. This blog is a part of my Digital Marketing course and I will submit some individual assignments here during the upcoming period.
I am 26 years old and am in a hurry to graduate and actually enter the working life properly. That's why I'm going to complete my degree in a faster phase - in 2.5 years. This means I'm pretty busy with my school stuff, especially since I am also working in a restaurant as a waitress.
I am interested of hospitality industry (especially food & beverages) but also of marketing and event planning. My future objective is to combine those three in my career. I have a strong background working as a waitress both in Finland and abroad, already have some experience of event organizing and am learning about marketing now. Hopefully this course will give me some important tools for the future.
In my free time I like to exercise, read and enjoy good food and drinks. I appreciate staying home with my boyfriend and watching movies, not really doing anything special. Those moments do not happen too often these days.
